The Sussex Air Quality Alert is a service provided by the Sussex Air. The service sends free messages direct to you when air pollution levels increase in your area.
- Sussex Air Quality Alert Service is targeted at people with respiratory and heart conditions who may be adversely affected by air pollution.
- The service warns you between 24 to 48 hours prior to an episode of elevated air pollution.
- Alerts are sent via email, voice or text/SMS message direct to you.
- You can register for free and unsubscribe at any time.
The service enables people to make informed choices for their health or someone else’s health whom they may be caring for.

Using the national UK Met Office air pollution service we check and send out air pollution alerts only when pollution levels are likely to affect peoples health.
